Dry skin is short on the oils that keep moisture in. It can feel tight after a wash, look dull or flaky, and itch in winter or air-conditioning. The wrong soap makes all of that worse by washing away what little oil the skin has.
The right bar is mild and rich: it cleans without foaming the skin bare, and it carries ingredients that soften — butters, plant oils, glycerin and soothing extracts — so your skin feels comfortable, not squeaky, when you step out of the shower.
New bars for this are on the way. Meanwhile, see the whole collection.

A gentle, moisturising bar is fine for most dry skin. What dries skin out is harsh, high-foaming detergent soap and hot water. Choose a mild bar with butters or oils, wash briefly and moisturise afterwards.
We don't have a bar made for dry skin yet. Both our current bars use a mild goat milk glycerin base but have a fine scrub, so if you try one, use a light touch and moisturise straight after.
That tight feeling usually means the cleanser removed too much of the skin's natural oil. Switching to a milder bar, cooler water and moisturising straight after usually helps.
